The certificate of eligibility (CoE) normally has 3 months valid. As a special measure under COVID-19, CoE which were issued between October 1, 2019 and January 29, 2021 will be treated as valid for 6 months from the date of the entry restrictions being lifted or until April 30, 2021, whichever comes first.

By the way, the suspension of CoE issuance was lifted after July, and it is now issued in order of application examination.
CoE (在留資格認定証明書）の有効期限は通常3か月ですが，コロナの特例措置として，2019年10月1日から2021年1月29日までに作成されたCoEは、入国制限措置が解除された日から6か月または2021年4月30日まで、いずれか早い日まで有効なものとして取り扱われます。
なお、CoEの発行保留は7月以降解除され、現在は申請審査順に発行されております。
