2020年4月27日付情報です。新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大防止に係る上陸拒否について、新たに14の国と地域が追加されました。実施期限については当面の間延長されることになりました。ビザの効力停止については5月31日まで延長となりました。入国制限対象地域の日本大使館は5月31日までビザ発給しない方向ですので、CoEが取得できたとしてもビザ申請自体は6月1日以降になります。（各地、日本大使館に確認が必要です）
一方出入国在留管理庁でのCoE（在留資格認定証明書）は通常どおり発給されております。CoE有効期限は3か月ところ６か月に延長されました。
日本企業への就職、転勤については、先にCoEを取得しつつ上陸拒否が撤回される時を待つことも方法の一つです。

As of April 27th, 2020, 14 countries and regions have been newly added regarding Denial of permission to entry related to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The deadline will be further extended for the time being. Visa suspension has been extended until May 31st. In the meantime, Japanese Embassy in the restricted area shall not issue new visas until May 31st. (Confirmation required with the Japanese Embassy in your country)
On the other hands, the CoE (Certificate of Eligibility) has been issued by the Immigration Bureau as usual manner. The CoE validity period has been extended from 3 months to 6 months. For employments and expats, Japanese entity could wait for the timing to withdraw the above measures while proceeding CoE arrangement.
