Japan opens up online applications for foreign nationals’ entry permits from March 1st

The visa sponsors will be required to fill out the entrant’s information via the Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS), which is operated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW).  After the approval letter will be sent to sponsors, the applicants will be able to apply for a visa at Japanese embassy or consulate.

受入責任者は厚生労働省が所管するERFSのサイトに入国者の情報を入力する必要があります。受付済証が発行されたら、当該外国人は在外公館（日本大使館）でビザ申請をすることが出来ます。
